Donate Your Used Bikes
The Ride 4 Orphans and Jack the Bike Man, a bicycle charity, are partnering to collect gently used bicycles (no rust or heavy damage, please) to be refurbished and distributed to local families and children in need. The community is encouraged to bring their bicycles to the Ride 4 Orphans cycling event on April 26th, where Jack the Bike Man will collect the used bikes near the Yamato Road entrance to the campus from 7 am to noon at Spanish River Church, 2400 Yamato Rd in Boca Raton.
The Wheels of Hope program at Jack the Bike Man addresses a critical transportation gap for underserved communities in Palm Beach County. By providing free new and refurbished bicycles to individuals and families in need—including students, individuals in recovery, people experiencing homelessness, and low-income families—Wheels of Hope enables critical access to jobs, schools, medical appointments, and essential errands. Jack the Bike Man also accepts bikes at its location, which includes a repair and sales shop at 420 Claremore Drive, West Palm Beach. For more information, go to www.jackthebikeman.org.
